About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist, with management and leadership experience or potential, to head the Physiotherapy Department at Bathurst Hospital. You will have the opportunity to continue clinical work according to your skills, interest areas and the needs of the service. You will be part of a great team and Allied Health community and living in our lovely rural city.
The Occupational Therapy Department at Bathurst Hospital is a group of friendly, enthusiastic and innovative therapists and Allied Health Assistants who are welcoming and willing to foster growth and development in their colleagues. The team works with ED, ICU, Acute and Rehabilitation Wards, Outpatients and Sub-Acute Outreach, so no two days will be the same.
In this role, you will be required to demonstrate advanced reasoning skills in the provision of clinical care, clinical supervision and support and exercise of independent professional judgement in solving problems and managing complex situations.
