About the role


Lachlan Health service Occupational Therapy department provides generalist Occupational Therapy services to the communities of Parkes and Forbes NSW. The successful applicant will be working across both Forbes and Parkes Campus sites. 

The Occupational Therapy department provides services to the inpatient units, as well as community adult and paediatric caseloads. This role is primarily working within the inpatient units but there is scope to negotiate caseloads or to learn new skills providing Occupational Therapy services to a variety of clients across the lifespan. 

Parkes hospital was newly built in 2015 making it a modern contemporary facility. Forbes hospital was refurbished in 2016 and the inpatient unit is also modern and new. There is an equipment pool at each site providing options for short term hire or trial of equipment. The Occupational Therapy team is supported by a department senior and you will be working within in a friendly small team environment.
