About the role

Based in the highly sought after regional city of Orange NSW, Orange Health Service is a level 4 trauma service, with five operating theatres, one procedural room and a 10-bay recovery unit. It is the major referral centre for the Western NSW District for a range of surgery specialties which include major orthopaedic and trauma, general surgery, upper GI, endoscopy, urology, ENT, obstetrics and gynaecology and ophthalmology.

A small but busy department, you will be instrumental in leading and supporting staff in the Orange operating theatres through day to day running tasks such as rostering, resource allocations, problem solving and mentoring staff.  You will also act as a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices delivering evidence based best practice.
