The Nurse Manager provides leadership and management of staff, services and resources to ensure delivery of safe, effective, quality nursing care.

Molong is a charming town located close to Orange in the Central West of New South Wales. Molong’s beautiful and leafy main street is National Trust classified and its rolling hills make Molong a truly beautiful place to live and work.

Our Facility
The Molong Multipurpose Service (MPS) was part of the State’s Redevelopment Project and much of the facility is either newly refurbished or newly built making it an exciting and modern place to work. The redeveloped site was opened in 2018 so now is a fantastic time to join us in Molong!


The MPS includes acute and sub-acute/non-acute inpatient services, rehabilitation, respite and palliative care, residential aged care, outpatient and ambulatory care services and a range of integrated primary and community health services provided by the HealthOne centrally located in Molong’s main street.

To apply for this position, please address the following Selection Criteria

  1. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
  2. Extensive relevant post registration nursing experience and relevant post graduate qualifications in management (or willingness to commence within 12 months of appointment).
  3. Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary nursing professional and management issues.
  5. Demonstrated ability to facilitate professional development and competence of nursing staff.
  6. Demonstrated ability to manage nursing and resource allocations to deliver effectiveness and efficiency.
  7. Demonstrated highly developed information technology, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to represent nurses and consult with staff, mediate conflict and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals.
  8. Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of policies and practices, including requirements of the National Safety & Quality Health Standards.
