About the role
If you are a licenced Class 1A Security Officer who would like to work beyond the night time crowds in a caring and friendly environment, with day shifts as well as evening/night shifts – look no further than working as a Health & Security Assistant with our team.

At Cowra Health Service we are currently a team of 6, looking to expand our team as we head towards the transition into our new hospital facility. We have permanent full time and part time opportunities available.

This is a varied role providing security and general assistance to ensure the smooth running of the hospital. Your role will include security related duties as well as providing support to the nursing team under their guidance in the delivery of patient care, that may include portering for patient transfers, cleaning, basic patient support and be able to attend to Mortuary tasks as needed. You will be able to work rotating shifts over a 7day roster. Penalty rates apply.

Providing a quality and safe environment for the care of patients is the shared responsibility of all staff and the Health & Security Assistant is an integral and valued member of our team.
