About the role

The Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Orange is a multidisciplinary team and partners with a range of Health Services and other agencies to provide acute mental health services to young people and their carers. The Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides evidence based best practice in a trauma informed and recovery focused environment with young people and their carers central to their care.

 

The Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the nursing team, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to support and care for consumers.

 

The successful candidates will have effective engagement, assessment and interactional skills as well as the ability to manage people exhibiting challenging behaviours. You will also possess high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

 

Bloomfield Campus - Mental Health Drug & Alcohol (MHDA) - is in Orange, NSW approximately 4km from the CBD. The campus is situated in landscaped and park gardens, with a mix of modern and heritage listed buildings.

 

Successful applicants will be required to attend a comprehensive orientation and professional development program on commencement.
