- Relevant health related tertiary qualifications and experience including relevant and recent experience leading complex programs of work, demonstrated expertise in health performance measurement,, research and evaluation and related disciplines, with proven ability to lead development of reports and information products.
- Strong record of achievement at senior executive level in a large and geographically dispersed organisation delivering health services, including a current drivers licence to drive in NSW and willingness to travel across the Western NSW region.
- Proven track record of effective operational management covering planning, human resources, budget, assets, quality improvement and risk management including demonstrated strong experience in successfully managing large, complex projects with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Significant experience in building, motivating and engaging a team, developing and monitoring employee performance and leading teams in complex and rapidly changing environments.
- Highly developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills demonstrating the capability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholder groups to drive the achievement of common goals and influence decisions at the local and state level to ensure the best possible health service and health outcome needs are delivered on a local and state level.
