About the role
Lead the day-to-day operations as Deputy Director of Nursing at Bathurst Health Service in this rare permanent full time opportunity. This exciting and challenging position provides the opportunity for professional growth and development in a senior management role.
Bathurst Health Service, is a Level C referral facility with 100 beds. In addition to a new MRI suite which is underway the NSW Govt has pledged a further $200m for more acute inpatient beds, a larger emergency department, increased rehabilitation services, expanded ambulatory and outpatient services, and an enhanced pre and post-operative care.
Services Bathurst provides includes allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine, intensive care (Level 4 ICU), general medicine, maternity (level 4), mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services.
Bathurst also has active hospital in the home and primary community health services to the surrounding townships of Blayney, Oberon, Perthville, Hill End, Sofala and Rylstone.
Bathurst Health Service has a strong partnership with the University of Western Sydney and Charles Sturt University, conducting research and providing student clinical placements, education and patient referral opportunities.
