About the opportunity
The Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (Nurse Coordinator) to support and provide quality care for patients/clients, whilst ensuring the patient is transported in a safe, comfortable and timely manner. Casual positions are available in Dubbo, Orange, Parkes, Bathurst and Forbes.

Where you'll be working

What you'll be doing
The Endorsed Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, working under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to support and provide quality care for patients/clients. 

To apply, please address the following Selection Criteria

  1. Current Authority to Practise as an Enrolled Nurse with Medical Endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Demonstrated ability to practice in accordance with the Enrolled Nursing Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, and Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
  3. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written and verbal means; and sound interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people.
  4. An understanding of patient centred care and demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload within the scope of practice.
  6. Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, and the ability to administer medications within scope of practice.
  7. Current NSW drivers' licence (Class C) with evidence of proven safe current driving record verified by Roads and Maritime Service licence printout.
  8. Current knowledge of Work Health and Safety legislation and ability to apply this to the Patient Transport Service.
