About the role

The Allied Health Assistant Position work within the acute and rehabilitation units at Bloomfield Hospital, Mental Health Drug and Alcohol inpatient services. The role will be assisting the allied health professionals based on the units in running groups, assisting with individual interventions and assisting with the running of the ward program. The allied health assistant will assist a large and diverse allied health team which includes Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Social Work, Diversional Therapy, Speech Pathology, Dietitians and an Education Officer.

The Allied Health Assistant Position will be managed under the Occupational Therapy department. They will be provided with supervision and education opportunities.
