About the opportunity

This role is part of a small specialist team providing counselling services to children and young people who have engaged in harmful sexual behaviour. Counselling is also provided to parents and carers. The Aboriginal Counsellor is one of two positions on the team that provide Aboriginal consultation and guidance to the New Street team. Working within a co-therapist family intervention model, provide therapeutic and casework services to young people, carers and family members within a complex interagency, legal and clinical environments.
