About the Opportunity
Campbelltown Hospital is looking to recruit an enthusiastic sonographer/radiographer to join our vibrant team. The ultrasound team is under new leadership and this role is a great opportunity for a new recruit to help shape the department for future growth.
Campbelltown Hospital Medical Imaging has a long history of producing high quality scans on state-of-the-art GE and Canon systems. This role will also give the applicant opportunity to rotate through radiography modalities.
What You'll be Doing
The role is responsible for providing comprehensive tertiary high level specialist diagnostic ultrasound service, ensuring high quality of patient care. The position works within a Diagnostic Medical Imaging multidisciplinary team to provide accurate and high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services for Campbelltown Hospital.

- Demonstrated experience and clinical knowledge in General Radiography and Ultrasound.
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science from a recognised University or qualification deemed by AHPRA Medical Radiation Practitioner Board to be equivalent is essential.
- Holds a recognised post graduate diploma in Medical Sonography.
- Holds a current and valid NSW EPA Radiation Licence and registration with ASAR.
- Registered and eligible to remain on the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency’s (AHPRA) Medical Radiation Practice Board Registry.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with hospital staff, private referrers, patients and carers.
- Proven knowledge of a majority of current ultrasound examinations, ability to teach, supervise and evaluate performance.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
