selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Extensive post graduate experience working in head and neck, cancer and ENT clinical areas demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and skills in assessment and management of adult acquired swallowing and communication disorders in these specialist caseloads.
- Demonstrated post graduate experience and advanced clinical knowledge and skills in instrumental voice and swallowing (VFSS and FEES) and tracheostomy management.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
- Demonstrated experience in providing consultation and education to colleagues and external parties that adheres to EBP principles.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
