About the Opportunity
Liverpool Hospital Speech Pathology Department is a great place to work. Our paediatric service is known for being innovative, having a strong emphasis on embedding latest evidence into clinical care, and contributing to the research base with our academic partnerships.
The position is responsible for leading, guiding and managing the delivery of speech pathology services to children with communication and feeding difficulties as part of the Ready Set Go program in the suburbs of the Liverpool area falling in the postcode 2168.

- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and postgraduate experience and skills in assessing and managing paediatric clients with a variety of communication disorders and feeding difficulties in a community health type setting.
- Demonstrated experience working with at risk communities ensuring the provision of client/family centred care.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.
- Demonstrated commitment to EBP and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation of service changes.
