Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which is accredited as eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia

Advanced clinical knowledge and skills in the management of paediatric inpatients and outpatients with a variety of feeding and swallowing difficulties, as well as communication difficulties.

Ability to work effectively in a large department, within a multidisciplinary team and independently.

Demonstrated experience supervising staff and/or students.

Demonstrated leadership in the planning, implementation and evaluation of local service delivery incorporating the quality improvement process.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management.

Demonstrated commitment to EBP and experience implementing EBP into service planning and evaluation of service changes.

Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
