About the Opportunity
The Emergency Department at Campbelltown Hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Secretary to join the team on a temporary maternity leave contract. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the NSW hospital medical workforce structure, with the ability to ensure smooth coordination of administrative and rostering functions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in document creation and formatting, along with fast and accurate keyboard skills, is essential for success in this position.

The successful candidate will be confident in using HealthRoster and managing rostering processes, with a sound working knowledge of Medical Officer Awards to ensure compliance in scheduling and entitlements. Experience in office administration and the ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work independently are critical. Strong verbal communication skills, effective planning, and a proactive problem-solving approach are also key to thriving in this dynamic healthcare environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dedicated team and support the vital operations of a busy Emergency Department at Campbelltown Hospital.  This is a temporary full time position, with consideration given to part time applications, with the possibility of extension at same/reduced hours.

 

What You'll be Doing
Provide efficient secretarial and administrative support to the Director and staff of the Emergency Department.
