About The Opportunity

We welcome applications from senior and experienced staff alongside staff wishing to transition into the speciality of Emergency Nursing.


The Emergency Department at Liverpool hospital is one of the largest Emergency Departments in New South Wales. We see a wide range of specialities and conditions including Trauma, Cardiology, Cardiothoracic, Respiratory, Minor Injuries, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Surgery, Orthopaedics and mental health enabling our staff to become extremely skilled and experienced. We have a large resuscitation room equipped with a helipad to receive trauma cases from across New South Wales. 

  

We offer a tailored education and progression programme delivered by our team of Clinical Nurse Educators. You will be further supported by 24/7 Nurse Unit Manager Cover along with Clinical Nurse Specialists & Nurse Practitioners. The Nursing team is led by a Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant. We have a large and dedicated team of staff specialists led by a Director of Emergency Medicine.
