What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting a team of occupational therapists in a specialised inpatient setting.
- Providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and guidance to Level 1/2 staff.
- Ensuring timely, person-centred care, including documentation for NDIS and LTCS.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services.
- Contributing to service planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Acting as a consultative resource for brain injury rehabilitation across the district.

- Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated high level clinical expertise and knowledge of a wide range of clinical conditions in Neurological rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated experience leading quality improvement processes and involvement in service evaluation and development
- Demonstrated experience implementing evidence into practice and knowledge and/or experience in research
- Excellent time management skills and an ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated experience in the management, clinical supervision and mentoring of staff and/or students
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively adapt to ongoing change to achieve health service outcomes
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills and computer literacy in a range of programs
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
