To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
  1. A qualification in risk management and/or 5 years demonstrated experience managing risk in a senior role.
  2. Extensive working knowledge and application of risk management policies, guidelines and relevant risk management standards in large and complex organisations, and demonstrated experience and practical knowledge applying the principles and practices of Enterprise Risk Management.”
  3. Well-developed oral and written communication, negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills, including a demonstrated ability to present to and communicate with a range of stakeholders and be able to quickly adopt to a changing audiences.
  4. Demonstrated organisational skills, able to manage several priorities at the same time, highly adept to reprioritising tasks at short notice, and the capacity to meet deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, and manage risks, risk registers, risk reviews, and associated management activities, with a commitment to continuous improvement with a strong focus on achieving strategic outcomes.
  6. Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with a high degree of initiative and flexibility, and adept at developing and proposing innovative solutions to complex risk issues through to articulating recommendations.
  7. Demonstrated experience developing, delivering and evaluating risk management related education and workshop training programs, with a demonstrated commitment to transformation and change which results in a positive risk culture.
  8. Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining risk content on intranet and/or SharePoint sites, and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Suite of IT applications and use of risk information management systems.
