About the Role
In the A62 Cardiology Unit, you will be an integral part of a skilled team, delivering compassionate care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostics, monitoring, and management. Working in this unit, you'll gain expertise in cardiac assessment, managing both acute and chronic cardiac conditions, and providing care in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires adaptability and precision. The role involves shift work across days, evenings, and nights.

- Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), General with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an acute care setting, providing care for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Please provide an example of a recent clinical situation where you applied your cardiac assessment and management skills to deliver high-quality care. How did you prioritise patient care, ensure safety, and collaborate with the healthcare team?
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
