We're looking a pharmacist who is:

Provision of a wide range of Pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients of the hospital, including dispensing, distribution and manufacturing services as well as clinical services. Promotion of both safety and quality as key aspects of drug therapy. Participation in quality improvement and professional development, as well contribution to education and supervision of other staff and students.
Where You'll Be Working
The Southern Highlands of NSW is made up of 34 towns and villages, providing both a rural yet cosmopolitan lifestyle of cafes, restaurants and wineries, offering a diverse range of industry, sports, arts and culture, affordable housing, excellent schools, all less than 1.5 hours travel to Sydney, Canberra and the coast.
Bowral & District Hospital is part of the South West Sydney Local Health District with strong and established networks to tertiary facilities of Campbelltown and Liverpool.
Bowral & District Hospital is a new state of the art hospital - opened in December 2020, with level 3 acute bed facility which provides a wide range of services including 24 hour Emergency Department, 2 Operating Theatres plus a Procedures room, Day Surgery, Endoscopy, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Critical and Coronary Care, Maternity & Paediatrics.

- Current Authority to Practice as a Pharmacist with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) & Current Working with Children Check Clearance
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff, and patients and carers
- Experience in the provision of clinical Pharmacy services preferably in a hospital setting consistent with the Standards of Practice of the Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia
- Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying that knowledge appropriately to clinical settings
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams;
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and to supervise the activities of support staff
- Proven organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise according to Organisational needs
- Demonstrated understanding and application of quality improvement methodology
