About The Opportunity
The Clinical Nurse Consultant SWSLHD Refugee Health Service is a senior position within the team and has responsibility for both local and state wide matters. The Clinical Nurse Consultant will lead clinical change, evidence based practice and coordinate education and research opportunities for refugee health nurses.
 
SWSLHD is recruiting for a Clinical Nurse Consultant (Grade 3) to complement and enhance the current Refugee Health Service. What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert practitioner who, through leadership facilitates evidence based practice. The CNC will promote a service which fosters clinical excellence, research and professional leadership. The CNC contributes to quality health care by collaborating with the health care providers and consumer groups, developing clinical practice standards and evaluating their outcomes. The CNC is responsible for providing services which facilitate effective management of the care in the given specialty.
