A Degree or equivalent in Social Work or related field including Psychology, Welfare which provides eligibility for relevant association or AHPRA registration.

Diploma of Training and Assessment or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40112 or upgrading units to a 40116) or an interest in furthering own development in providing education and training to Health professionals
-
Demonstrated ability in the design, development and delivery and evaluation of adult education programs.

High level experience in and understanding of child protection principles and practice, demonstrated knowledge of the relevant Acts and NSW Health policies in regard to child protection; proven capacity to analyses, interpret and report on complex clinical and professional issues.

Highly developed analytical skills including high level skills in child protection and wellbeing risk assessment and decision making.

Effective written, oral and interpersonal skills to enable: (1) engagement with a broad range of stakeholders; (2) build and sustain collaborative relationships and (3) preparation of clear and concise business documents.

Demonstrated ability and motivation to work part of a senior team with minimum supervision.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively both collaboratively and in isolation, in an environment of high and competing demands with a sound understanding of the NSW health system, its demands, environment and knowledge of a range of health services, with a background in clinical service delivery.
