Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience of the complexities of 24-hour rostering practices and a high-volume, fast paced NSW Health environment
  2. Demonstrated experience in training and development of all levels of staff in the use of workforce HRIS related roster systems
  3. Demonstrated experience in interpreting and advising staff on relevant legislation, policy, awards and agreements relating to awards, pay and roster systems
  4. Demonstrated well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse and interpret data and prepare written reports
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain effective relationships with staff and internal and external stakeholders
  6. Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a demanding environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused and cost efficient approach
  7. Sound understanding of and experience in effective use of information systems and a high-level computer literacy, particularly working with databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office and use of electronic rostering systems and human resources information systems
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment and the willingness to travel within the LHD and to external stakeholders in accordance with the requirements of the position
