About The Opportunity
This role supports a unique healthcare unit, supporting administrative tasks forSWSLHD student pipeline programs, including delegation for day to day ClinConnect system administration.Reporting to the Manager of the Future Workforce Support Unit, this role collaborates with various programs within the team, including:
- VET in Schools Program
- Work Experience Program
- Internal Nursing and Midwifery Facilitation Service
- Student Compliance and Verification

What You'll be Doing
The Administration Officer Future Workforce is responsible for providing a comprehensive range of administrative functions to support the Future Workforce Unit within Education & Organisational Development Services. The position supports all administrative functions for student placement programs, VET in schools and other student pipeline programs. The role represents the public face of SWSLHD to prospective students and needs to demonstrate excellence in customer service to both internal and external customers. The role will also support the broader administration team as needed.

Education and Organisational Development Services (EODS) supports the achievement of the LHDs strategic goals, with a focus on supporting our staff to positively transform how our patients, consumers, staff and communities experience our organisation and services.
The department consists of staff with expertise in clinical and non-clinical education and organisational development focussed on the delivery of the EODS Operational Plan. The departments programs and services focus on enabling a positive workplace culture, developing high performing teams and ensuring our work environment attracts and retains talent. The key portfolios within the department include Multidisciplinary Clinical Education & Development Unit, Corporate & Support Services Education & Development Unit, Learning Hub, Organisational Development, Culture & Diversity Unit and Future Workforce Support Unit.

A qualification in Administration and/or previous experience in an administration role.
Demonstrated experience in the coordination of student placement programs and a solid understand of the required compliance requirements.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to solve problems, make decisions and work independently under limited direction, within the identified scope of the role.
Act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote a culture, and supporting practices, that reflect the organisational values through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with managers and employees.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
