About The Opportunity
Campbelltown Hospital is seeking talented acute care physiotherapists for two roles: a Permanent Full Time Level 3 Cardiorespiratory Senior, and a Permanent Part Time Level 3 Weekend Senior physiotherapist.
The Level 3 Cardiorespiratory Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for senior care delivery and oversight of acute respiratory, cardiology, and surgical units. They will also be responsible for pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory outpatients services. They will provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members and students. They will form part of our wider cardiorespiratory team, including a Level 3 Cardiorespiratory/Critical Care Physiotherapist, level 1-2 and first year graduate staff.
The Level 3 Weekend Senior Physiotherapist will provide senior oversight and clinical support to acute wards on weekends. They will provide supervision and support to our weekend Level 1-2 and new graduate staff. They will have a diverse skillset in the areas of including cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, neurology and aged care.
What You'll be Doing
This position is responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy services. This includes service development and evaluation and advanced reasoning and clinical practice skills in the management of clients of a novel or complex nature. This position is responsible for the supervision, teaching and training of Level 1/2 Physiotherapists, AHAs and students.

- Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex physiotherapy caseload.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development and evidence based practice.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Level 3 Cardiorespiratory Senior Physiotherapist: Extensive clinical knowledge in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy with a broad range of clinical experience including respiratory, cardiology, intensive care, and surgical care. Or Level 3 Weekend Senior Physiotherapist: Extensive clinical knowledge in acute physiotherapy, with a broad range of clinical experience including aged care, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, and acute neurology.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
