Southern NSW Local Health District covers a large area of the southern half of NSW. What you'll be doing
The Clinical Product Advisor will participate in change and reform programs that improve controls and systems with an appropriate balance between clinical care, safety, and budgetary allowances. The position has a focus on patient outcomes and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
The incumbent will provide annual leave relief and high level technical and strategic advice to the Clinical Product Manager and work collaboratively with the SNSWLHD Procurement Team.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  2. Relevant post graduate qualification in Management and/or demonstrated sound knowledge of clinical products and equipment management and their safe application within a clinical environment.
  3. Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, written communication, consultation, and negotiation skills necessary to build and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  4. Demonstrated experience and ability to contribute to service development, apply problem-solving strategies and implement quality improvement programs with proven ability in meeting service targets.
  5. Evidence of time management capacity working in a complex, rapidly changing and high-volume environment, with the ability to successfully manage competing demands and deliver outcomes in a coordinated, collegial, and communicated manner.
  6. Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders to support change management initiatives.
  7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
