Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Clinical Haematology to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital !

  
We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Clinical Haematology. The primary purpose of the role of Staff Specialist in Clinical Haematology is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Clinical Haematology, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Haematology Department and Hospital as required. This position will have a focus on clinical and translational research. 
  
The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development. 
 

Medical practitioner, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australia with recognised qualifications in Clinical Haematology and Laboratory Haematology and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award.

An appropriately qualified appointee to this position with Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRACP) and Fellowship of Pathologists of Australia may also be considered for scope of clinical practice in Laboratory Haematology by NSW Health Pathology.

 

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
