About the Role

Professor Marie Bashir Centre Camperdown was opened in 2014 has been designed to be a place of healing and recovery. The centre is integrated with community mental health services to ensure people can get back to school, work, family and friends as soon as possible. The centre has been purpose built to help people with mental health issues.


Provide senior clinical leadership within Social Work service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff including provision of supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff and students on clinical placements in accordance with the award.

Ideal Candidate

  • Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Social Work that provides eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, with Current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of social work, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
