About the Role
You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). The Haematology Senior Clinical Trials Manager at RPAH, in close liaison with the Head of Department (HoD), is responsible for the overall operation of the Clinical Trials Unit and in ensuring the Unit’s activities align with the strategic objectives of the organisation.
The Haematology Clinical Trials Unit (HCTU) at RPAH is seeking a dynamic and driven Clinical Trials Manager to lead our dedicated team in delivering world-class clinical trials that make a real difference to patients' lives. In this pivotal role, you will apply your strong management skills and haematology expertise to foster excellence, innovation, and collaboration. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape research strategies, optimise trial operations, and contribute to transformative outcomes for cancer patients.

Ideal Candidate
- Appropriate tertiary qualification and/or demonstrated relevant equivalent professional experience in a clinical research environment.
- Management skills and experience to effectively drive clinical research and build strong working relationships with stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
- Ability to lead a diverse range of staff in a substantial and complex organisation engaged in clinical research initiatives.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills; extensive experience in communicating complex research or clinical ideas/concepts to a diverse audience; experience in negotiating complex contractual agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
