About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Dietician to join the Chronic Disease Palliative Care multidisciplinary team. The position is based at Redfern Community Health Centre. The role involves the provision of a community-based service across Sydney Local Health District.
The Dietician is expected to provide a high-quality service to patients/clients and carers with a life limiting illness. This will be done through community-based care mainly in the home and at times, virtually as appropriate for the patient/ carer's needs. You will be responsible for providing senior clinical leadership within Nutrition and Dietetics service provision, including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting and educating community nursing staff. This position may also be required to provide supervision and direction to Level 1/2 staff, students, allied health assistants and students on observational placements in accordance with the award. This will be done through community-based care both in the home and virtually as appropriate for the patient/carer's needs.

Ideal Candidate
- Post graduate qualifications or Bachelor Degree that allows eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in provision of clinical dietetics, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
