Selection Criteria
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Qualifications in Child and Family health Nursing or currently undertaking the Child and Family Health Nursing accredited course and a current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 licence is acceptable).
- Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
- Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with children and families within an evidence based framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team in an autonomous role.
