Selection Criteria
- Must hold a Bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy with current registration with AHPRA, as well as relevant post graduate qualifications in clinical leadership and/or management or willingness to undertake same.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy across a broad range of clinical areas.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the leadership, supervision and management of Physiotherapy. This includes demonstrated ability to identify and lead change across the Physiotherapy service to improve service delivery models and meet identified KPIs.
- Demonstrated skill and experience in the management and use of data collection systems, including activity based funding, and understanding of costing systems, budget interpretation and financial management.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to identify opportunities and innovatively lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of service delivery incorporating continuous improvement, evidence based practice and research.
- Extensive experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships with key stakeholders and patients/clients through the application of well developed written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated high level organisational, prioritisation and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical/administrative demands.
- Demonstrated commitment to own professional development and experience implementing evidence based practice and quality improvement activities.
