Physiotherapist (Level 3) - Emergency Department

The successful applicant will work with the MDT at the Concord hospital Emergency Department to assess and manage patients attending the emergency department. The role works closely with the ASET team to manage elderly patients with mobility issues in the ED and ED short stay unit but will also work with the Level 4 Primary Contact Physiotherapist in Emergency to manage more Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic based presentations.
Level 3 Senior Clinicians have a recognised clinical specialty within their discipline and work in areas that require high levels of clinical expertise and knowledge in that specialty. They demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and operate autonomously with minimum direct clinical supervision.

Ideal Candidate
- Current AHPRA Physiotherapy Registration and degree, or equivalent, in Physiotherapy, ensuring eligibility for full membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association with experience at Level 2 or higher.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff and students.
The role may be required to work weekend shifts as part of the weekend staffing and Emergency Department roster.
