About the Role

Balmain Hospital is a community-based healthcare facility that has been caring for local people since 1885. It is dedicated to Aged Care, Rehabilitation and General Practice. Balmain Hospital is committed to providing the highest standards of healthcare to meet individual needs.

Balmain Hospital is seeking a Level 1-2 Physiotherapist for a permanent, part-time weekend (Sunday) position. This position involves covering priorities across the subacute aged care and rehabilitation wards in Balmain Hospital and involves providing high quality Physiotherapy services to patients in SLHD.  The successful applicant will have clinical skills and experience working in aged care and rehabilitation and demonstrate enthusiasm to develop their clinical skills.  They will have the ability to work independently and as a part of a multi-disciplinary team

Ideal Candidate
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Physiotherapy practice and the provision of services to Physiotherapy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development, evidence based practice and continuous improvement.

Please note, this position will only be required to work Sunday's
