WHERE YOU’LL BE WORKING

Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH) has been serving the local community since 1904. The Hospital is a centre of excellence and throughout its history has been a key driver in shaping oral health and dental care in Australia.

   

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

The position is responsible for the coordination and supervision of Patient Administration Officers all departments within Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services (SDH-OHS). The Patient Administration Services Manager ensuring that the Patient Administration Officers are delivering an efficient and effective service with a high level of patient and family centred care, and efficient utilisation of resources and adherence to the policies of NSW Health and Sydney Local Health District. 
 
This position also manages the Patient Administrative Services (PAS) which includes the Medical Records of SDH-OHS with a particular focus on integrating PAS services with the other departments of the Hospital and ensuring the seamless flow of information and resources between the departments.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated high level administrative and clerical skills with previous experience in providing managerial support.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders including senior leaders, managers and staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage staff through leadership and experience in independently managing a team.
