About the Role
  
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care.
  
To provide support services to the activities in the Perioperative Department by the performance of any or all of the tasks assigned to this position and contributing to the achievement of safe patient outcomes.
Engaged in the provision of porterage, theatre linen supplies, cleaning services.  Intraoperative theatre duties including transfers of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in intraoperative theatre duties including transfer of patients onto the operating table and positioning of patients or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to commit to a roster providing afternoon and evening cover 7 days a week, including night shift
  • Specialised cleaning skills.
