About the Role
Concord Repatriation General Hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.
The SLHD Community Transition Aged Care Program (TACP) serves to transition aged care clients safely from hospital back into the community. The TACP Occupational Therapist, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary TACP team, will work with clients to achieve their goals and ensure safe discharge from the program.
Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate Occupational Therapy experience, including aged care and/or rehabilitation and experience delivering Occupational Therapy services in the community setting.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
