Selection Criteria
- Degree in Health Information Management or other relevant tertiary qualification/and or experience in working in the field of information management.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of the administration requirements for management of patient information.
- Demonstrated experience in implementation of computerised clinical information systems and experience in staff training and support.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to apply this across medical records management and clinical information systems development, implementation and support.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise and achieve deadlines.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills with effective written and oral communication skills, including experience in preparing and delivering education material.
- Demonstrated knowledge of legislation and policies related to clinical information (e.g. HRIPA, State Records Act, GIPA).
- Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 Licence acceptable).
