Selection Criteria

  • High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare briefing notes and correspondence for the General Manager.
  • Strong oral communication skills with demonstrated capacity to vary communication style to audience and need.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and providing executive and administrative support functions to the highest professional standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet deadlines and department objectives and manage conflicts of resources or priorities.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to manage, develop and adjust work systems to maintain high level productivity.
  • Demonstrated competency in the use of computer systems and software including: Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power point, Access, Outlook and electronic records management system such as TRIM.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality/ privacy working in a healthcare organisation.
  • Experience in managing stafflink, e-recruit, Oracle or other similar or equivalent corporate systems and programs.
