Director of Nursing - Community Health Services (Nurse Manager Grade 6)
Selection Criteria
- Current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Extensive recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services in the relevant setting, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team and to represent the nursing/midwifery service and organisation at a local level.
- Proven experience in managing key priorities and delivering successful strategies relating to service outcomes and KPIs.
- Demonstrated understanding and participation in the implementation of organisational change, risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
- Highly developed ability to critically think, set goals, formulate plans and policies to achieve identified outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and guide others through change processes and continuous quality improvement.
