Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or equivalent work experience with a demonstrated sound understanding of the community and stakeholders in the local government area.
- Relevant experience in developing and implementing strategies leading organisational growth with an ability to work within and understand fundraising parameters.
- Demonstrated management skills, leadership qualities and competence for managing a diverse portfolio of community-related responsibilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of quality improvement initiatives and accreditation processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects and working with project teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working independently with limited supervision, as well as functionally part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the benefits and challenges of community and consumer engagement, including knowledge about participation strategies and methods.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to tailor communication to varying audiences and high level computer literacy.
