Community Nursing Clinical Nurse Educator
Selection Criteria
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and relevant post registration experience in the specialty.
- Holds relevant clinical or education post registration qualifications, or such education and clinical experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in various teaching methodologies including the ability to plan, conduct and evaluate unit based education.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to education and promotion of evidenced based practice and knowledge translation.
- Well-developed leadership, communication skills and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability liaise in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally in a team and be self-directed with time management and prioritising skills.
- Computer skills including word processing, presentation, spread sheet applications and clinical information systems.
