Occupational Therapist/Social Worker Level 1/2, Psychologist
- Mental Health assessments to people experiencing acute mental health problems ( including a rapid response when indicated) and determining an appropriate pathway to care (eg community treatment; assist consumers access and admission to inpatient treatment)
- Short term intensive treatment in the community often as an alternative to hospital
- In reach to hospital to promote effective follow up post mental health admission
- Gatekeeping- developing opportunities for assessment and community treatment at key points (eg; Assessment Unit and Admission Office)
- The model provides short term treatment after assessment up until the acute symptoms are resolved or the consumer is effectively transferred and engaged with an appropriate treatment provider.

- Holds recognised tertiary qualifications appropriate to profession. Full registration and eligibility for membership to professional association, as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with GPs, Service partners and external providers.
- Has the ability to work on a 7 day rotating roster.
- Holds a current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
