Selection Criteria
- Degree in Social Work or Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and eligible for membership to the AASW or current registration with AHPRA.
- Excellent knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the legislation, interagency guidelines and NSW Health policies in relation to child protection in NSW.
- Demonstrated high level knowledge and competence in novel, complex child protection clinical counselling and casework services to children, young people and /or families and willingness to provide a client focused service.
- Demonstrated experience in supervision, leadership, and management to direct the delivery of child protection services, to make a significant contribution to clinical education and training of clinicians, and build capacity within the Child and Family services to manage Child Protection work.
- Demonstrated high level administrative and organisational abilities as well as interpersonal, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to network and build partnerships with local agencies including FACS Community Services offices.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in analysis, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operational planning.
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 licence accepted).
