About the Role

Concord Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our friendly team in a permanent, part-time 24 hour per-week position. In this busy diverse role working in the Psychology Department in one of Sydney’s leading hospitals, you will see inpatients and outpatients referred from across the hospital to provide evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, case formulation and treatment. You will contribute to Departmental projects and goals, and supervise psychology students where appropriate, and an interest in research would be an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

  • Current registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA.
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions, demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy. Demonstrated skills in working with families.
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia
