We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join a dynamic and dedicated team.

    

Your new role… 

 

Will be based at Canterbury Hospital

The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) position is to provide senior nursing clinical leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery within a nursing unit, team or service.
 
The CNS employs advanced clinical skills and exercises extended autonomy of decision making working closely with managers and other senior clinicians.
 
The Clinical Nurse Specialist/s will facilitate a 7 day a week service (8 hours per day Monday to Friday and 6 hours per day Saturday and Sunday).  

The ideal candidate will have…  

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 3 years experience working in a relevant area with post-registration qualifications deemed appropriate by the organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and problem solve to manage the complex clinical care needs of patients through the development and use of clinical management plans.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
