Selection Criteria

  • Post graduate qualifications or Bachelor degree in Nutrition & Dietetics giving eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia and current unrestricted NSW Drivers licence (P2 acceptable).
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and skills, and extensive postgraduate clinical experience, in the provision of paediatric nutrition services to children aged 0-8 years and their families, including knowledge of health issues for individuals and communities of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, NGO’s, and local communities in the provision of nutrition training, advice and resourcing for both individuals and population groups.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating best practice individual, group, and multidisciplinary service delivery.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills in an environment of competing clinical and administrative demands.
  • Demonstrated high level written and interpersonal communication skills, including training and group education skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in student teaching and supervision.
