Selection Criteria

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers internally and externally to the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience with computer and software packages, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, databases.
  • Demonstrated previous experience in a hospital or medical clinic environment with medical terminology knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative to solve problems and make decisions to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Knowledge of hospital billing systems and/or willingness to learn.
