About the Role
The Clinical Support Officer provides timely and accurate administrative service for members of the Manning unit under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM). The Clinical Support Officer (CSO) is a ward/unit-based role that supports nurses, midwives, medical, and allied health staff, with shift times based on service delivery needs. It may operate across multiple wards/units and will work alongside existing administrative staff, complementing current systems and processes. Under the direction of the NUM, the CSO provides timely and accurate administrative services, working under broad supervision with some independent responsibility. Final decisions impacting ward/unit operations remain with the NUM.

Ideal Candidate
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
